Alumni Association
Introduction
Alumni is our finished product ready to catch the dynamic market. It has occupied eminent position in various sectors and brilliantly contributing to the national development and social, economic and cultural reformation. Our alumni has strong and healthy relation with our college. As a result, alumni has been effectively engaged in the development of our college. Its contribution will be recommended for ever.
Name
The name of the association shall be ‘The Alumni Association, Krantisinh Nana Patil College, Walwa.’ This is an independent and registered association of those who have had B. A. and B. Sc. education from this college.
Office
The office of the Association shall be located at KNP College, Walwa. The business hours of the association shall ordinarily the working hours of the college.
Objectives
- To bring the former students of the KNP college under one forum for exchange of experience, science knowledge and talents amongst its members and present students of the college. - To maintain effective communication network among the member of alumni and college. - To develop a link between old and new generation. - To raise funds for various welfare schemes and infrastructure development in college. - To provide merit awards to rank holders. - To encourage college loyalty and work for educational excellence. - To exchange professional knowledge, organize seminar, conference, work shop and training course. - To encourage the ex-students for joining the alumni association to take an active and abiding interest.
Power and Functions of the Association
- The association may organize cultural activities, sports, games and social activities for the benefits of its members, present students and society. - Further, the association shall have powers to enroll members, from committees, sub-committees and call for periodically meeting of executive council and general body to achieve the objectives of the association. - The association will work as per the rules and regulations given in the amendment of the association.
Membership
- All students who have successfully completed B.A. and B. Sc. Degree of our college. - Those eligible persons shall paid Rs. 100 after graduation. - Online registration of the life membership will be available on the website of the college.
Administration
The administration of the alumni association shall be conducted through executive council, those who are life member and elected by general body. The following members of the council shall be office bearers. - President - Vice-President - Secretary - Joint Secretary - Treasurer
Powers of the Executive Council
- To accept application for membership and give approval in the executive council meeting. - To organize meeting of the executive council at least two times in a year. - To check the register and record at the time of meetings of the executive council. - To organize general body meeting once in a year. - To look out the function of the executive council as per the rules and regulation of the alumni association
