About Department
The Dept. was established in 1992. This subject is taught up to second year only. For this, there is a full time faculty appointed. Economics The Department is running With the mission of Creation of Knowledgeable, Employable & Responsible Citizens’. The Department of Economics Was established in the year 1992 having one division [ i.e. F.Y. S.Y.] department has two MOUs With Different organizations regarding knowledge exchange placement and internship and other co-curricular activities. For employability enhancement two value added course have been run by the department A stat level seminar was organized by Department of Economics in year 2021 the topic for the seminar was “ Population problem in India “ and celebration of octagonal days.
VISION
To impart the students knowledge regarding different social institutions and to create awareness about different Economic and social issues among the rural students.

Preamble :
This paper intends to acquaint the students with various dimensions of,asaiso the challenges, confronting the Indian economy.it endeavor’s to provide useful insights to the students about the present economic standing and composition of the Indian economy, the Major sectors and their relative importance in the Indian economy and the major challenges faced by it.

This paper is specially designed to cater to foundation building of the students by imparting knowledge about the science ,technology and development .STD students of B.A. Part- I can bitterly understand alllatest concepts in science.
